What do you do at Mizuho?
I help advise on cross-border M&A transactions between the US and Japan. This involves analyzing investment opportunities on behalf of our clients and guiding them through the complex process of acquiring a company.
What surprised you about Mizuho?
I've seen a tremendous initiative to expand in the US. From growing the Advisory Group to building a larger capital markets business and elsewhere, I’ve been impressed with the significant steps taken to become a top bank in the US.
How have you grown since joining Mizuho?
I've developed a strong level of professionalism and high standard for my work as I’ve been surrounded by people who do the same.
Share one of your proudest moments while at Mizuho
There have been a couple projects recently where I was part of the team that advised our clients on transformative transactions which made them more global and more innovative. Both transactions were well-received by investors and have positioned our clients to be leaders in their fields in the future.
What do you do for fun when you're not at work?
When not working, I’m surfing Rockaway, playing soccer in Central Park, or watching Arsenal continue to disappoint.
